A concentrate is a highly potent cleaning formula you dilute with tap water at home before use. Instead of shipping you mostly water in a plastic bottle, we ship you the active ingredients and you add water yourself.

One 32oz bottle of Scrunchy Living concentrate makes up to 24 spray bottles of all-purpose cleaner — at about $2.08 per fill vs. $3–6 for a conventional ready-to-use spray.

• All-purpose (counters, stovetops): 1 oz concentrate + 15 oz water
• Bathroom (tile, toilet, heavy grease): 1.5 oz concentrate + 14.5 oz water
• Glass & mirrors: 0.5 oz concentrate + 15.5 oz water
• Floor cleaning (mop bucket): 2 oz concentrate per gallon of water

The bottle label has these ratios printed on it. Always dilute before use — do not apply concentrate directly to surfaces.

Kitchen counters, stovetops, appliance exteriors, microwaves, bathroom sinks, tile, toilet exteriors, sealed hardwood floors, high chair trays, crib rails, and pet areas.

Not recommended for: unsealed stone (marble, travertine), wood furniture (use sparingly and wipe dry immediately), cast iron cookware.

Yes. All Scrunchy Living products are formulated without quats (quaternary ammonium compounds), synthetic fragrance, bleach, alcohol, parabens, and dyes — the ingredients most commonly associated with respiratory irritation and skin sensitization in children and animals.

As with any cleaning product, store out of reach of children and avoid eye contact.

Yes. Wipe the surface and allow it to air dry — no rinsing required before food contact. The formula contains no harsh solvents, no synthetic fragrance, no bleach, and no quats.

100% cotton. Not polyester, rayon, or polypropylene nonwoven fiber. Cotton is naturally soft, biodegradable, and does not release microplastics the way synthetic fiber wipes do.

Yes. The formula contains no bleach, no quats, and no phosphates — the ingredients most likely to disrupt septic bacteria. The brightening powder uses sodium percarbonate (oxygen bleach), which is also septic-safe.

Quaternary ammonium compounds (quats) — including benzalkonium chloride — are disinfecting agents found in most conventional cleaning wipes and sprays. They've been associated with respiratory sensitization, skin irritation, and concerns about contributing to antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

Scrunchy Living products remove dirt and grime using plant-derived surfactants instead. No disinfecting claims, no quat residue on the surfaces your family touches.

Our products are formulated to meet EWG Verified standards and our certification is currently in progress. We will update this page as soon as certification is complete. Until then, we say "formulated to EWG standards" — not "EWG Verified."
